Setbacks & Success

Fried Hard Drive

So- my hard drive on my computer totally failed the other day. Although I’m handy with the iPad and iPhone, I still feel naked without my laptop. Luckily it’s owned by my employers, so they’ll cover the costs to get it fixed… The shitty part is that it’s going to take over a week to get it replaced.. I backed it up a few a few months ago…

Moral of the story.

Buy a Mac with a solid state hard drive. PC’s suck….

So I started this Wild Rose detox the other day. Today is Saturday, I am two days into it.  This is how I feel when I’m thinking about having beer, or bread, or whatever I can’t have.  only 10 more days to go. I’m sure its going to get worse, much worse.

DAYS FOLLOWING THE INTERVIEW So, after the interview, I asked a few questions, follow up time etc. They’d be in touch in about a week or so.  This is how I feel currently, knowing that HootSuite had to do over 100 interviews for this position. NERVOUS ANTICIPATION

JUST AFTER THE INTERVIEW This is honestly how I felt after my interview. I thought I did really well. Felt confident about my experience and my background, totally think I’d be a great fit.  I was feeling awesome.

INTERVIEW TIME Surprisingly, when I walked into the nest. This is not what I saw. Although, I had hoped it was something similar.  Besides being disappointed about the lack of kittens, I was really impressed with the work space, and the overall vibe of the office.
